Elegibility
To belong to the Community Police Radio Network, applicants must:
- Be at least 18 years of age;
- Be a resident of the city of Edmonton or surrounding district;
- Comply with all Federal and Provincial laws governing radio operators; and
- Be of suitable character.
An in depth screening process is completed by the Edmonton Police Service and the C.P.R.N. Personnel Committee. Each successful applicant is issued an identification card upon completion of the standard probation period. The process consists of a background check on yourself and immediate family members.

is a civilian volunteer organization who assist the community
in the detection and prevention of crime.
